Alarm Bells Are Ringing: The Turkish Population Is Aging Rapidly
Turkiye is navigating one of the most critical periods in its history. The Turkish population in Anatolia is aging at an alarming rate, and birth rates have plummeted to a crisis level. Experts warn that if current trends persist, in 20 years, we may struggle to find young people to send to the military. The population replacement rate, which should be 2.1, has dropped to 1.51 according to 2024 data. This is a clear sign that a nation faces an existential threat. But how did we spiral into this catastrophe?
The Family Is Being Destroyed: Part of a Global Plan
This crisis is not unique to Turkiye; it is part of a global agenda. Allegedly, world elites aim to reduce the global population to 500 million. Wars, economic manipulations, and, most crucially, the complete destruction of the family unit are the cornerstones of this plan. While birth rates are declining in Europe and America, these regions are aware of the danger and are seeking solutions. For instance, in the U.S., figures like Trump and Elon Musk promote messages championing family values and procreation. However, in Turkiye, the situation is far graver: society has yet to awaken to this threat.
Modesty and Decency Are Gone: Nudity Normalized
The scenes in streets, cafes, and even engagement ceremonies are horrifying. Young women roam in outfits resembling underwear, in a “what’s up” style. “I’ve never seen such nudity even in Europe,” experts say. The concepts of modesty and decency have entirely vanished. Women view displaying their bodies as freedom, even courage. This alienates men from marriage; mystery and respect have evaporated. But who is responsible for this moral collapse?
Economic Crisis or Spiritual Decline?
Some attribute the decline in marriages to economic woes: “Gold prices have skyrocketed, wedding costs are unaffordable.” But this is only part of the truth. In the early days of the Republic, during times of scarcity when bread was rationed, families had 5-6 children. Our grandmothers didn’t chase men in the streets; they dedicated their lives to their homes and children. Today’s youth fight over cosmetics and parade in luxury cars at midnight. The question is: Can this generation become mothers, wives, or daughters-in-law?
Youth and the Illusion of Freedom
Under the guise of “freedom,” young women normalize late-night outings in luxury cars. Families, by saying “we don’t restrict them, we let them be free,” pave the way for this collapse. But freedom shouldn’t mean hollowing out the concepts of modesty and honor. Today, we speak of a Turkiye where the age of virginity has dropped to 13. Seeing girls “turned into women” in high schools and middle schools has become commonplace. This isn’t freedom; it’s the path to a generation’s ruin.
The State and Society: Can Solutions Be Found?
The state has recognized this crisis. The president and the Ministry of Family openly address the severity of the population decline. However, mistakes have been made. Opening universities in every city has distanced young women from the idea of marriage. Promoting women’s employment has detached them from family life. Laws like Law 6284 have devalued men, relegating them to secondary roles and undermining their position as heads of households. Faced with this reality, young men abandon the idea of marriage and quietly retreat. So, how can this trajectory be reversed?
Can Modesty and Honor Be Restored?
Even if economic issues are resolved and laws are reformed, can the lost values of modesty and honor be brought back? Look at the streets: How many girls can you find to bring home as a daughter-in-law? Even if you find one, will that marriage last more than two years? Divorce rates are at an all-time high in the Republic’s history. Society is engulfed in widespread moral decay. This cannot be explained by economics alone; we are facing a spiritual collapse.
Conclusion: Awakening to Disaster
Turkiye is hurtling toward a nightmare. The population is aging, the family unit is collapsing, and moral values are vanishing. The Almighty declares, “I destroy wayward nations and replace them with others.” If this trajectory doesn’t change, the Turkish nation risks losing its ability to survive in Anatolia. The solution lies not only with the state but with each of us. Without returning to modesty, honor, and family values, averting this catastrophe is impossible. The alarm bells are ringing; it’s time to wake up!
