About 4 thousand citizens of foreign countries returned from Iran to their homeland with the assistance of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. As noted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkmenistan continues to ensure unimpeded transit of foreign citizens leaving Iran through humanitarian corridors. “To date, 52 countries have asked Turkmenistan to assist in the return of their citizens to their homeland in view of the situation in the Middle East.
