Dushanbe, 20 June 2025 — A new administrative building for the State Unitary Enterprise “Smart City” has officially opened in the capital of Tajikistan, marking a major step in the country’s digital transformation. The opening ceremony was attended by President Emomali Rahmon and Rustam Emomali, Chairman of the National Assembly and Mayor of Dushanbe — underscoring the project’s national importance.
Located on Jalol Ikromi Street, the new facility houses a state-of-the-art city monitoring center, equipped with advanced digital infrastructure to ensure round-the-clock surveillance and emergency coordination across the city.
24/7 Monitoring Hub for Urban Safety
The center spans 200 square meters and is operated by a team of 35 specialists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Traffic Police, and Emergency Services. These operators are tasked with maintaining public order, managing real-time data, and responding rapidly to incidents — making the hub the backbone of Dushanbe’s smart security network.
